From 8 to 18 June 2017 in Bulgaria under the patronage of Chairman of the Party “Batkivshina” Yulia Tymoshenko and President of the Association “Social Protection” Eugenia Tymoshenko held XI International Charity Childrens art Festival “Follow your dream” for 200 orphans and children deprived of parental care and internally displaces children from the East of our country.
“Follow your dream” festival is a celebration of goodness and mercy, which brings together talented children and non-indifferent artists. We help children regardless of their social status, nationality or religion to become full members of society and realize their creative potential”- said Eugenia Tymoshenko during the ceremony of the festival.
The XI Charitable Festival “Follow your dream” consisted of master classes from Ukrainian artists, a creative competition and a gala concert. The professional jury evaluated the contestants: Andris Kapinsh (chairman of the jury), Marta Adamchuk, Gesho Lubenov, Inga Selina, Timur Usmanov, Semen Zhigalin, Yuriy Milentiy.
This year, the honorary jury chose 77 winners in vocal nominations, choreography and the original genre in the age categories: children, juniors and youth.
23 Laureates of the first places in the age categories juniors and youth received special prizes from the Association “Social Protection” – tours for 7 days to the summer camp in the Republic of China. Artem Magdenko received a special prize – an author’s song from the member of the jury composer Timur Usmanov, with whom Artem will be able to perform this summer at the Black Sea Games. Bilyana Miteva received a trip to Bulgaria for the International Festival “Slavic crown”. Valeryya Dobrovolskaya, Roman Telp, Volodymyr Charushin received a special prize from the partner Premier Hotels and Resorts tour for the weekend. Also by organizators and jury was observed the vocal teacher, educator of Toretskaya boarding school (Donetsk region) Galina Shalimova professionalism, patience and dedication of the work.
Eugenia Tymoshenko awarded the main prize – the Grand Prix’s of the city Toretsk (Donetsk region) Alexei Samoilenko, who performed with Pavel Glazovoi humoresques and expressed gratitude to competitors and all who remained indifferent to children’s art festival and contributed the conduct.
“I am confident that we will remember this evening, filled with an atmosphere of love, sincere emotions, tears of joy and smiles. I sincerely thank those who have long supported us and those who are first time joined our cause – to all those who gave children feast and helped implement their dreams! “– said Irina Volgina, president of the NGO “Follow your dream”.
Recall that this year, the “Follow your dream” festival, which was held by the Association “Social Protection”, lasted ten days on the basis of the International Children’s Camp “Albatross”, St. Constantine and Elena, in Bulgaria. 200 children from orphanages, boarding schools and IDP’s from East Ukraine had the opportunity to perform on the international stage with famous artists of Ukraine – Mila Nitich, Marta Adamchuk, Garik Bircha, Eugene Khmara, Yuri Godo, group “Kley Ugrumogo”, Svetlana Tarabarova, Artem Gagarin, to undergo rehabilitation, to improve health and spend unforgettable holidays on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.
During the 11 years of its existence, the festival gathered thousands of talented children from all over Ukraine under its wing, attracted hundreds of artists and cultural figures to the development of their work.
