Association Child.ua headed by Eugenia Tymoshenko hold an annuall charity event “School Bag” for 600 children.

On the eve of the Knowledge Day, the annual event of the Child.ua Association – “School Bag” took place in the Kiev Palace of Children and Youth. Its main purpose is to help children from families with difficult circumstances and do not have the financial capacity to provide children with the necessary equipment for school classes. .

This year, 600 children attended a holiday concert and received school briefcases with useful stationery. The performers of the concert programm were pupils of Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth, who showed their talents.

«The period leading up the new school year is always filled with pleasant worries and exciting school fees. Unfortunately, not all families have the financial means to provide children with at least the most necessary things. To give children a sense of joy from their first school days, regardless of their families’ material and social conditions, is the main goal of our action. For the sixth consecutive year, we have been holding such an event and are attracting more and more children every time», – said Eugenia Tymoshenko the President of Association Child.ua.

These event «School bag» for junior and secondary school age children are secondary conducted in partnership of charities Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and supported by the UAE Embassy in Ukraine.

«At at the UAE Embassy we are always trying to find opportunities to “pay tribute to society” in Ukraine, and helping children from socially disadvantaged categories is a kind of priority of our activity. It is not the first time that we are taking part in such events, and partnership itself is a crucial element in their implementation», – Abdullah Al-Suwaydi, the UAE’s solicitor, said.

Association CHILD.UA headed by Eugenia Tymoshenko unites international and all ukrainian public organisations for giving support for children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, giving them opportunities and skills for a better future.
Annually CHILD.UA helds around 30 charity event and making support for 3000 children. As well our organisation provides socialization and psychological rehabilitation of children, provides charitable assistance, helps them to develop culturally and creatively.
