October 31<\/span>\u00a0in Tsiurupynsk<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(Kherson region)<\/span> in a boarding school for<\/span> children with disabilities was<\/span> the day “<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Friendship<\/span> continues<\/span>“<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, which was organized by<\/span> “I<\/span>nternational charitable Fund “Serve now”<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/strong> <\/span>On this day in<\/span> boarding school<\/span>\u00a0came<\/span>\u00a0guys\u00a0from Merefa<\/strong><\/span>, <\/span>Kharkiv region.<\/span> They brought<\/span> musical performance<\/span> “Chipollino<\/span><\/em><\/strong>“<\/em><\/strong>. <\/span>C<\/span>hildren<\/span> perform<\/span> themselves\u00a0songs<\/span> in the play<\/span><\/span>, <\/span>they are<\/span> choir members of<\/span>\u00a0private<\/span> Christian school<\/span> “<\/span>Beginning of wisdom<\/span>“. <\/span>Also<\/span> the event was attended by<\/span> volunteers<\/span> from Crimea<\/span> who organized<\/span> for children<\/span>‘s<\/span> activities and entertainment<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Tatiana<\/span> Shpiunova<\/span><\/strong>, Director\u00a0<\/span>of charitable Fund “Serve now”<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>said: “<\/span>W<\/span>e<\/span> know children<\/span> from that orphanage<\/span> \u00a0for a long time<\/span>. F<\/span>irst we met<\/span>\u00a0them\u00a0in<\/span> Kerch<\/span> in 2013<\/span>, <\/span>when there was a<\/span>\u00a0 charitable\u00a0summer camp<\/span> of the Hope center.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>This was our<\/span> first experience working<\/span> with special children<\/span>, <\/span>and<\/span> we did it!<\/span>\u00a0They had\u00a0to leave the Peninsula after the annexation of Crimea<\/span>.<\/span> This year the Fund<\/span> “Serve now<\/span>” <\/span>organized charity summer camp\u00a0<\/a><\/span>in the Carpathians<\/span><\/a>, where they invited<\/span> the pupils<\/span> from<\/span> Tsyurupinsk<\/span>. <\/span>At the same time,<\/span> there<\/span> rested<\/span> the boys from<\/span>\u00a0school “<\/span>Beginning of wisdom<\/span>“. <\/span>Children and adults<\/span> became friends<\/span> and<\/span> agreed to meet<\/span> in the future.<\/span>\u00a0And now the meeting<\/span> of old friends<\/span> took place<\/span>. <\/span>Get a small<\/span> holiday home.<\/span> We are very grateful to her caregivers<\/span> for their warm welcome<\/span> and confidence in us<\/span>. <\/span>In addition to the performance<\/span> and<\/span> games, we<\/span> brought the children<\/span> a small treat<\/span>. <\/span>I hope that<\/span> for all<\/span> this holiday<\/span> was an enjoyable moment<\/span> of life.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Acc<\/span>ording to Tatiana<\/span>, the charity<\/span> intends<\/span> to continue cooperation<\/span> with the house-boarding school for children with<\/span> special needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us note that the<\/span> Tsyurupynsk<\/span> children’s home<\/span><\/strong>–<\/span>a boarding school<\/span> was opened<\/span> in 1968<\/span> for children with<\/span> consequences of poliomyelitis<\/span> and<\/span> cerebral palsy<\/span>. <\/span>This is the only<\/span> orphanage<\/span> in Ukraine where<\/span> children live and study and<\/span> treated<\/span> children with<\/span> “<\/span>extremely complex<\/span> disabilities<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
